Our Story
Bali’s disaster recovery experience spans 18 years in the industry. Our experience is wide and varied, including but not limited to being a liaison between the client and the city, state, or county in which the client is working for disaster recovery. We specialize in managing debris removal projects in the field, administrative management, or both. We also have experience understanding FEMA’s expectations from the client conducting the disaster recovery project to ensure payment to the city or county.
Bali also has vast experience in the field after a FEMA declared disaster as a sub-contractor in charge of the vegetative debris clean-up. We have completed many clean-up contracts after hurricanes, ice storms, tornadoes, and fires. We’ve also worked on the Federal STEP (Sheltering and Temporary Essential Power) program for our clients.

The Crew
Peter Sander
Co-Founder
Started his career in disaster recovery, vegetation management and debris management in 2004 when Hurricane Charlie hit the city of Orlando, FL. For the next 12 years he worked for industry leaders such as SAIC, Leidos and Tetra Tech and assisted cities, counties and states in contract and administrative management to help ensure full reimbursement. During this time Mr. Sander helped his clients secure reimbursements in excess of $200 million from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
Angela Sander
CO-FOUNDER
Started her career in the finance industry learning what is necessary to make a company efficient and profitable, as well as effective and community oriented. Looking for more autonomy, and seeing a significant growth opportunity in the disaster recovery industry, she and her husband joined forces and formed Bali Consulting. Since then, Bali consulting has been thriving and growing in the industry, with the services being provided to our clients.
